With the Ice Hockey Summer Classic season now in full swing, the games are coming thick and fast for the Buccaneers. 25th May and 1st June saw home games against the Sheffield Blazers and Leeds Warriors respectively and two wins for the Buccs have maintained our 100% start to the campaign before we headed down to Deeside to take on Connahs Quay Cobras on 7th June.

Buccs Lay Down Marker In Leeds
After a long 9-month break since our last game, the Buccaneers were back in Summer Classic action on Saturday as we headed to Leeds to take on the Warriors in the first meeting of the two clubs. With the sting of losing by a late goal in last year’s play-off final still lingering, the team were keen to get off on the right foot this season.

Double Delight for Buccs in Sheffield
Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May saw the Buccaneers open their Summer Classic campaign with a double-header in Sheffield taking on the Sheffield Mavericks on Saturday before facing the Sheffield Ice Tigers on Sunday. Two wins meant the Buccs headed back over the Pennines with 4 points and a 100% start.
