The Buccaneers are proud to be taking part in the first ever Bone Idle Ice Hockey tournament at Bradford Ice Arena over the weekend of 29th/30th June 2019.

The Buccs will join hosts Bradford Ice Wolves, Coventry Centurions, Leeds Gryphons, Sheffield Mavericks and Trafford Thunder in a round-robin format followed by a finals round. Each game will be 20 minutes, played with a running clock.

Saturday sees us play two group games, back-to-back, separated only by an ice cut. First we take on Leeds Gryphons then we face-off against Trafford Thunder.

On Sunday, we’re first on the rink against the Coventry Centurions. There’s around 90 minutes for us to get rested before we’re back on against the host team Bradford Ice Wolves. We get another extended rest before we close out the round-robin games against the Sheffield Mavericks.

Finals game will take place dependent on the outcome of the round-robin.

We’re looking forward to what should be a great weekend where we’re hoping for some good hockey and to meet some new teams that we’ve never faced before. Thanks to Bradford Ice Wolves for organising the event!
