Sunday 24th April saw the Buccaneers play host to the Kingston City Knights in their second meeting of the Summer Classic. The first game saw the Buccs run out 13-4 winners, but with the Knights out for revenge, this one promised to be a much tighter affair.
With their usual match-report-writer missing, and the second in command manning both the clock AND the gamesheet, this one might not be up to our usual standards!
But the headline is that the Buccs ran out 6-4 winners in a close game that could genuinely have gone either way. That victory takes the Buccs top of the Summer Classic league, having won all three of their games so far.
Rob Tomlin took the MVP for a solid performance between the pipes, and the Buccs’ 6 goals where shared between five different scorers.
More details to come when I get remember some of the details!
